Reports of their loss have also been sent to headquarters. But even the insurance companies have not compensated them till now. Farmers have been demanding compensation for a long time. He also performed fury before Corona knocked. But since the Corona transition began, farmers could not be vocal about compensation. Although memorandums were given to administrative officials several times during this period, nothing happened. On Monday, representatives of Kisan Sabha also went to meet Deputy Commissioner RS ​​Verma on this issue. But in the absence of Deputy Commissioner, he met Poonam Babbar, District Revenue Officer. Who once again reiterated that Girdawari's report has been sent to Chandigarh. Several reminders have also been sent from his office, but compensation has not yet been released from the Chandigarh headquarters. After this, the Kisan Sabha has decided to start picketing from Tuesday. Though there is a forecast of rain in the coming days, the assembly has already made up its mind to agitate on the issue of compensation.

Will take care of social distance

Kisan Sabha chief Preet Singh said that a dharna will be started outside the small secretariat from Tuesday to demand compensation. Farmers were not agitating due to Corona infection for so many days. But the administration has done nothing so far, so they are helpless. But the instructions issued regarding the corona will be fully adhered to. Not many farmers will be called on dharna. 10-15 farmers will hold a symbolic strike to create social distance.
